SCHEIDT plans and realises Switch houses and Technical buildings made of concrete for energy supply and infrastructure. Our structures fulfil high requirements in terms of function, durability and design and are suitable for network operators, industry and municipal applications.
We offer a wide range of design options for façades and roofs. We realise façades with pebble render, rubbed render or clinker brick. For the roof shape, you can choose between a mono-pitch roof, pitched roof and hipped roof. On request, we can also realise special solutions such as thatched roofs. This allows us to adapt the design of concrete switch houses and transformer stations to the surroundings and architecture.
Our CAD-supported planning enables the precise design of switchgear houses and transformer stations. We adapt dimensions and geometries flexibly so that individual requirements in switchgear construction can be reliably realised. We manufacture the individual components for switchgear houses and transformer stations in the factory according to customer specifications and assemble them on site. We use sealing systems from certified manufacturers for cable and pipe penetrations. As with walk-in transformer stations, we offer either a raised floor or a solid concrete floor with prepared recesses for the cable feed.

Individually planned switch house

We manufacture the basements monolithically and without construction joints in the factory. Dimensions: 3 to 5 metres wide, 6 to 12 metres long. This construction method ensures a high level of oil-tightness and requires no additional coating. The construction reliably prevents the ingress of seepage water and adhesive water and is particularly suitable for switchgear and transformer station construction.
For larger dimensions, we can assemble your switch house from individual precast concrete parts or realise a waterproof in-situ concrete tank. The tank can also be sealed using a WHG-approved system. Sealing systems from various certified manufacturers are available for the passage of cables and pipes.
Transformers are mounted on height-adjustable, galvanised transformer rails. Prefabricated walls are placed on the on-site in-situ concrete slab. This construction method enables short construction times, high installation quality and cost-effective realisation of switchgear houses and transformer stations.
