On 15 August 2025, the Scheidt/SMA Tech Group not only celebrated the inauguration of the new production and logistics hall for the SMA Tech The focus is on the people who make up our companies: our employees and their families.
A day for employees and their families
The summer party offered colleagues from Scheidt and SMA Tech, together with their families, the opportunity to come together, celebrate and honour the successes of recent years in a family atmosphere. The joy was palpable as soon as you entered the festival grounds: children romped around on bouncy castles, were transformed by face painting or laughed with the balloon artist. A DJ, live music and a variety of culinary offerings ensured a great atmosphere for young and old alike.
The celebration was therefore not only an official setting for the opening of the site, but above all a thank you to the employees - for their commitment, their loyalty and the family cohesion that has always characterised the company.
Shaping the future - together
In addition to fun, games and encounters, the day also offered a glimpse into the future: the new production and logistics hall in Rinteln-Süd was realised with an investment of around 8 million euros. This will not only create more space for production, logistics and administration on around 4,750 square metres, but also the basis for 40 new jobs.
However, the focus on this summery day was less on the technology and more on the shared experience: a creative play brought the history of SMA Tech to life, a specially created aluminium sculpture symbolised innovation and sustainability, and the stowage of a time capsule reminded everyone that the future is always built on the values of the community.
