The company Scheidt GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business. The company was founded in 1889 by Wilhelm Scheidt in Herford and was a typical construction company at the time. Scheidt sees itself as an organism and pays equal attention to the following areas in terms of holistic corporate management:

 

Sustainability - Code of Conduct

Compliance with certain standards of responsible corporate governance, such as sustainability, human rights, working conditions and the environment throughout the entire value chain of our product, is of the utmost importance to us. We have therefore summarised these standards in a binding code of conduct that applies to us, our employees and all our suppliers.

Customer-orientation

The company's top priority is always to inspire customers and all business areas are geared towards this goal. It is therefore a matter of course that the Scheidt Group employees meet the customer right from the start and support them throughout the entire project with a great deal of commitment and the ability to solve even complex requirements innovatively.

Quality management

We maintain a quality management system with the aim of optimising our customer focus. It goes without saying that we are committed to continuously improving our management system and fulfilling the applicable management system requirements.

Employee orientation

One of Scheidt's most decisive success factors is its employees. It is therefore a key objective of our human resources policy to promote employees in their areas and thus prepare them for responsible tasks that lead to both personal and company success.

Occupational safety

To protect our employees and ensure a safe working environment, Scheidt has introduced an occupational health and safety system. This system is authorised to bear the "Systematic Safety" seal of approval. Constant monitoring and further development of the system are a matter of course.

The aim of our environmental management system is to use resources as sparingly as possible and to minimise environmental pollution, such as dust and noise, by continuously improving our environmental performance. We are committed to complying with all relevant environmental regulations.
